Care Instruction
Triuvae Care Instructions
Your Triuvae pieces are crafted with exceptional precision and are designed to last a lifetime. By following these simple care instructions, you will ensure the enduring beauty, performance, and integrity of your fine Jewellery and Watches.
Jewellery Care
Your Triuvae jewel is a precious and refined piece. By taking a few precautions in its use and maintenance, you will be able to preserve its original beauty for years to come.
Routine Care & Cleaning
- Cleaning: You should clean your jewellery regularly. Use a very soft brush and mild soapy water to clean the piece, then rinse it with clean lukewarm water. Pieces with leather parts should be cleaned with only a soft cloth.
- Professional Service: We recommend bringing your jewels to a certified Triuvae boutique annually. An expert will check the settings, professionally clean, and restore your piece to its original brilliance.
- Storage: Prevent damage or loss by storing your jewels individually in their original box or pouch after wearing them. Contact with other pieces can cause scratches. Chains should be closed and laid flat to avoid tangling.
Precautions
- When to Remove: Always remove your jewellery before going to sleep, practicing any sport, washing your hands, or using household cleaning products.
- Avoid Contact: Prevent exposure to corrosive elements. Keep your pieces away from fragrance, alcohol, cosmetics, ammonia, chlorine, and intense sources of heat or sudden extreme temperature changes.
- Impact Check: If your jewellery suffers a shock or hit, the stone setting may need to be checked. Avoid forcing clasps, joints, and metal frames.
- Safety First: Be sure to check that the clasp and safety latch close properly. If you have any concerns about the security of the settings or clasps, do not wear the jewel until it has been inspected by an expert in a Triuvae boutique.
Watch Care
Your Triuvae timepiece is unique and esteemed. Following these recommendations will ensure the impeccable condition and operation of your watch throughout its lifetime.
Handling & Protection
- Temperature: Avoid exposing your watch to extreme heat or sudden changes in temperature or humidity (e.g., sauna, hot springs, Jacuzzi).
- Magnetism (Mechanical Watches): Protect your mechanical watch from magnetism by keeping it away from strong magnetic sources, such as microwaves, X-rays, and large speakers.
- Impact: Avoid forceful impacts. Unless your watch is specifically intended for sports use, it is not recommended to wear it while playing sports that may cause shocks or jolts to the wrist (e.g., golf, tennis).
Water Resistance
- Before Water Contact: Before any contact with water, check that the crown and push buttons are properly closed.
- Underwater Operation: Do not activate any mechanical features (like setting the time/date or using chronograph pushers) while your watch is underwater, unless your piece is specifically designed for water sports or scuba diving.
- Cleaning After Exposure: Water resistant watches should be washed with running lukewarm water after contact with seawater or chlorine.
- Regular Check: Watches worn in water should be checked for water resistance every two years to ensure the gaskets have not been compromised.
- Surface Care: Always place your watch on a soft surface and continue to avoid contact with fragrance, alcohol, cosmetics, ammonia, and chlorine.
Crown and Movement
- Crown System: After adjusting the hour or date on a piece with a crown security closing system, the crown must be tightened again to prevent outside elements like dust or humidity from entering the case.
- Date Adjustment: To prevent damage to the movement, avoid adjusting the date between 9 PM and 3 AM, as this is when the date wheel function is automatically engaging.
Battery & Service
- Quartz Battery: Bring your quartz watch to a Triuvae boutique when the battery needs changing. The average lifespan is two to four years. We strongly advise against leaving an old battery inside your watch, as an old battery can leak and damage the movement.
- Maintenance Service: We advise performing a basic maintenance service every 2–3 years and a complete overhaul service every 4–5 years. This will ensure the accuracy, water resistance, and overall flawless functioning of your timepiece.
Triuvae International Repair Warranty

Please note that this warranty does not cover:
- Normal wear and tear of the watch and its accessories.
